Handover
Handovers can take place at a centre or in the community where it has been assessed that there is no risk to the child having direct contact, but where parents/carers still feel they are not ready yet to have meet face to face.
It is essential that there is an agreed form of communication between parents/carers either email, text, phone or a contact book, the worker can guide and support appropriate communication between parents to ensure the wellbeing of the child is safeguarded.

Next steps, complete the appropriate referral form(s)
